Step 1 / Concept & Style

After clients deliver a script, we start with visual research and the collection of references to develop the visual language - style of the video. In this initial step, we also create the concept for the video, meaning the main idea/story/message we wish to express and how we plan to represent it visually.

Step 3 / Finalizing the Design

Once the client approves the storyboard we can finalize the illustrations and prepared theme for animation, adding details and colors. All asset need to be prepared according to the specific way in which it will be animated. Characters for example, need to be separated into their individual components and body parts, so they can be moved individually and in a correct hierarchy. The process of connecting the different components of a character so that it could be animated correctly and easily is called character rigging.
